I would love that Ryan, that being said, after having looked at this setup all weekend, I can see how MOST of it matches up, other than the idle switch, o2 sensor,FPR...what I have seen so far... I was thinking from the get go that I would use the FE3 ECU and harness...fugetaboutit!!!
While this swap represents a personal challenge for me, I am however not too proud accept a helping hand...I'll put something up in some form of spreadsheet with all the FE3 sensors and corresponding BP wire colors.91 GT- Li'l Bee (under construction)

So hey I need clarification...which ECU should I be running my FE3 from? After some intense drinking and discussing, ( had to put some emphasis on the drinking) my original plan to run the FE3 with the BP ECU was challenged when asked if the BP ECU would be able to feed the 2.0 L engine properly...(injector cycles, lean/rich, air flow)
So if I use the BP ECU I lose out on performance? Can it even run the FE3?
If I use the FE3 ECU I need to figure out the wiring to the missing fuse/ relay box, and a bunch of other stuff, not to mention that I'll have 2 harnesses.
So I'm somewhat lost ...which route am I supposed to take here?
Anybody know ?

as long as proportionally everything is the same (to the ecu) the ecu wont know any different. you will get BP timing, BP injection pulse ect the ecu cant see the difference in cc or the difference in sizing of the injectors so i dont see why it wouldnt run fine as long as you size the injectors proportionally

theoretically it should run just fine. for example i ran my old hyundai elantra. came with 1.6 dohc and i put in the 2.0l 4g63. was running it on the 1.6 harness and ecu. but used the 2L injectors. ran just rich enough to give the car a good kick in the pants. when i ran the proper ecu it felt like i lost 25 butt dyno horsepower. so i dont see it being a very different senario here.91 protege gt. dropzone mx3 springs, mx3 crossmember, ractive front and rear strut braces, rear lower mx3 brace, 4 wheel disc brakes, corksport ss brake and clutch lines, kvr front pads, ractive cai,ram air hood scoop, modified front bumper, shaved ant and rear trunk lock, fubu ant, short shifter, corksport bronzeoil shifter bushings,92 glass sunroof and tail lights, mx3 center console, autometer gauges (volt and oil pressure) cluster needles painted to match, sound system, 17 inch eagle alloy 193 with 205 40 17 rubber. klze is ALIVE BABY!! . http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2394656http://www.toprotege.com/forums/show...hlight=project[url]

I will go MS, however I need (or prefer) to have a fully functional harness already in place. I will be tucking the wiring and I don't want the nightmarish task of having to look for open or short circuits in a hidden harness. Main goal is to have the engine running NA come spring. I have too much money invested in suspension and direction... that all needs to be installed this winter. On top of that I have an engine bay to clean now... Turbo setup and MS I will work on during next summer...91 GT- Li'l Bee (under construction)

i seriously don't see why you couldn't use a BP harness on a FE3 ECU. but btw where did you get the PDF for that wiring diagram? i really need to have a proper scaleable pdf to see some of these pinouts.---Has ClubProtege helped you in someway? show your support by Contributing--- Click Here---
