Random thought: if the Mazda Millenia Lysholm supercharger wasn't such a pile of garbage i would be half tempted to mount it to the MZR. Between the Lysholm whine and 3" exhaust it would make all kinds of cool noises.

Well it has crossed my mind but I see 2 potential problems. The instant low end torque eating up the transmission and the Millenia supercharger is not the most reliable unit and rebuilds are $1800.

Would I like to do it? Yes
A better candidate for the supercharger would be the F2 since I can have an H box behind it which would also eliminate my dilemma of the Turbo and A/C compressor wanting to use the same space.

ah, maybe I should have asked if you were set on the Millenia unit- I've got a Gen V M45 off a Cobalt SS with a handful of different pulleys (stock to 21psi IIRC) I'd let go of cheap if you're ever interested.

Oh I see. Well TBH I am not a fan of roots blowers and even if I didn't use a Millenia unit, I would still use a Lysholm or Rotrax universal kit. Thanks for the offer though.

I'm surprised you're still using the square tube rear arms, are they lighter than the 3G units?

I have no idea, I could check if I had some but I never really gave them much thought considering the only difference is the bend and round tube. My guess is they weigh the same.

for some reason I thought the round ones were stronger, they also don't seem to rot/break like the square ones but I suppose that isn't really an issue where you are

Haha, well this place has its own set of car problems. Everything plastic or rubber usually falls apart the first time you touch it and unless a car has blacked out windows the sun will destroy your interior, but the metal parts are always perfect. It's supposed to be 111 today and 113 in the next couple so A/C is very important.

The shell was bored out 1mm and then the large bearing will press into it.
