150 miles under the belt so far..open down pipe still lol. Did get an alignment tho. Everything seems to be working well. Builds boost, so thats a plus.
Got the resonator, 18" body. Ill see how it sounds and maybe throw my old muffler on. It has a 2.5 core, with 2.25 ends, just chop those off. I want this to be a decently quiet daily/ drive anywhere car, with a little power. I want to do a little ducting for the IC and rad to help control the airflow some. Water temps are good so no big issues there, just want to help efficiency some.

Well I think I need a fuel pump.. seems to run lean in third/fourth gear wot from 3500-4k. Ive seen as high as 15 afr but then it tapers down to 13s by 5-6k. In 2nd from 3500 wot its 12s down to hi 10s by 7k . shift to 3rd from that, its hi 12s then rises to 14s or so then i let off.
If I pin the throttle at 4k in 4th it goes high 14s, if i stay in it tappers down to low 13s by 5-6k and I let off. Doesnt seem right. This is all from memory and Ive only experimented a few times wot. Those numbers scare me lol. This is at 10 psi. Thoughts?
Edit- I pulled the plugs and they show just a little rich, witch is odd, but theres no signs of det and they look fine otherwise. granted they only have about 400 miles on them. Heat range is good. I think im going to get a 190 lph and go from there. i do have the knock sensor/controller hooked up. 12 degrees timing, maybe I should bump it down to 10.Last edited by 92dx; 05-14-2013, 07:48 PM.

could be the wideband calibration being off if the plugs are showing rich signs...otherwise I may be inclined to say you have a boost leak good sir lol. Mine does that around the same RPM because of a small tear in a coupler on my outlet pipe AND my idle is stead with -19hg for vac lol. Only leaks when I get on it it seems.-Jack

Got the 190lph in, seems to have cleared up the lean issue I was having. Thats good. Did another boost leak test for good measure, still solid.
In other news, broke an axle. Im used to the 80A mounts and mfactory diff in the red car taking a beating, I drive it like an ass. I learned my lesson in the escort with the softer 60A filled mounts lol (McMaster Carr pourable urethane in all 4 mounts, was looking for some comfort) 50 miles after the clutch was broken in.. This axle was brand new, ~600 miles on it. Running the exact same axles in the red car.
2nd to 3rd shift... Twisted off right at the end of the splines. Replaced it same day, Lifetime warranty GSPs.
