So the parts collecting has been slow, but I figured I'd share a little teaser. Unmodified Celica GT4 rear axle/AWD BG hub mating, with no modifications whatsoever necessary.

Full penetration?

From the best I could see, full penetration will be possible. But was afraid of getting them stick together since they were both corroded I didn't tighten down the axle nut all the way. Definitely exciting stuff to reach and cross that hurdle. My mother just called to let me know my front axles accidentally shipped to her house, lol. Also picked up a spare wiring harness. All I have left to buy is an Engine/Trans/Xfer case and I'm ready to go once Jim finishes building the subframes in the group buy we've got going on.

I could have told you they'd fit! LOL There's a guy on here who's running ST205? (could be 185) diff/axles with BG hubs, everything went together right as rain, even axle length wasn't looking like an issue. Good info none the less!!!

Yeah, I had never seen pictures just heard things from someone who knew someone kind of thing. I'm always uncertain of what I hear from people unless I hear it directly from the source. Some people say there's not a chance in hell, others say it fits like it's meant to be. Ive heard the same input on axle length, but also that ST205 were too long to use anywhere. Haha.

Been a while since ive got an update in. Picked up some Carbon Fiber NRG seats today! Will be going in next spring when the car gets torn down for the Engine/Drivetrain swap. Woop woop!

I remember a few years ago when I found NRG, and people were bashing it calling it low quality chinese **** on here lol now everyone and their grandma has an NRG quick release with nothing but positive reviews...those seats seem pretty solid too! I so regret not getting their sleeve kit back in the day lol

NRG has definitely increased their quality, lol. They used to be ****. Been sitting inthese for the past little bit and im pretty sure im going to love them once they go on the car.

They look well proportioned on their site, definitely seem comfy lol. Are you just going to use BG seat rails on them?

Few good sized updates to share. Jim Pierce over at Pierce Motorsports polished off a tubular subframe to house a Celica gt4 rear diff.



And my headlight guy has got the ball rolling on a projector retrofit for my spare set of laser headlights. Almost time to call in my sources to get some clear acrylic lenses made to make use of those bad ass projectors.

I wouldnt know if the subframe made it to my house yet, Im in Las Vegas for work. My roommates are supposed to call me when things arrive, but they usually dont.
Ive got my eye on a few colors for powdercoat, but im also open to suggestions!

I picked up a spare set of Laser headlights through Cam Rodgers (blodgertron) for my headlights guy to do a retrofit using aftermarket projectors. Trax Customs out of Boise, ID, for anyone interested.

Now I just need to get clear lenses made (plus a few extras probably) And well be in business! Also brainstorming Ideas for a One piece Headlight/Turn signal setup...
