It will get it only once the car deserves it with a proper AWD setup that is in utero. :D

Got some day pics on a drive with some friends today. Got the chance to drive my brothers car and follow behind and I gotta say this setup looks fuggin hawt!

Do you like my plate mount? Unbolts from the tow hook with one bolt.

Does anyone know if this has been done before in the States? I cant find anything suggesting that its been done before. Would be cool to say that I was the first to do so if I can lay claim to it.

I've certainly never seen it. Looking good! Though, the decklid Ford emblem is a bit redundant. I'm sure you mean to address it.

remove the trunk Ford oval, and just leave the garnish one. and you need laser mudflaps now lol

Looks Great! This project is an inspiration for my next BG project.

I was just browsing through your thread from the beginning... I think, unless you've fixed it, that your FE3-323 Sphericals are on backwards. The way you have them installed, at least in the initial install pictures, is actually reducing castor. The thin part of the sleeve should be facing the outside of the car, not towards the center.

Maybe you've already fixed that, I'm just giving you a heads up though.

I'm pretty sure you're the first "sedan" to do it AFAIK. But I've seen the laser hatchback garnish swapped before.

looks good but it would look even better with the laser rear bumper.

I was going to be doing some improvements to the car last weekend, but the alternator went tits up on me at the same time as the blower motor for the HVAC and also the wiring for the blower motor burnt up. Been busy fixing a lot of little loose ends on the car with lots to come. Still waiting on the glass curve grill Laser headlights. :D

Made a trip last week to get my brother in law back home after he rolled his car on some black ice, 888 miles and 17 hrs later the car performed perfectly, minus one little flub on the drive made by my friend the Escort remained unharmed.

This was just as I had put them up for sale, my friend manned up and paid for a new wheel, looks like I'm going to be using the busted one for a little piece of art. I will have a "build thread" posted in the appropriate section for that.

I finally sat down a while back and laid out exactly what path I want to take with this car, lets just say its going to be as "Faux-Laser" as it can get. AWD and RHD I feel are necessities for this build, as soon as work picks back up for me this car is goin back into full swing mode. Wish me luck!

The upper emblem will be removed shortly, my heatgun and rubber eraser were finally returned to me. Im probably going to copy the Laser emblem and paint it onto the Mudflaps, if I cant get the real thing. (Dont even know if they exist, ahah)

I wasnt worried at all about the castor increase/decrease, I dont really drive the car hard enough to recognize the difference, I turned them in to help negate the extra length from Jims tubular LCA's being MX-3 length, also adjusted the heim joint to bring it inboard, didnt want my wheels annihilating my fenders, haha.

The whole reason I chose this combination was to delete any recess there was for the plate, a like my rear ends shaved.
