Ok, so I'm not dead and I'm gonna be finally starting on this thing again. Its almost like a vendetta at this point.

Its crazy that its been almost two years since I've worked on it. Alot of **** has has happened since then. Got married, had a baby, now I got another on the way. Its rough being a responsible adult.

Finally got it into the garage.

Truck o parts. 1 of 3 loads I brought to my house, lol.

Been playing with other stuff. Just didnt have the space to work on the Escort till I got my garage done. Here are a couple.

The hauler. 2000 7.3. Has swamps 200cc single shot injectors. 5" exhaust. Intake. 6 position TS tuner with custom tune. Swamps fuel system. Swamps IDM. Runs pretty good.

Still playing around with this thing too. Would like to build an engine and make some power with it when the escort is done. Its a pretty fun ride.

Scooter. Bought this thing for super cheap. Dude had it all gayed out with ebay skulls n ****. Tore it completely down and this how it ended up.

Why I never really get to work on cars anymore...

I threw the towel w wrenching, took too much time.
They grow quickly, take lots of pictures, have spare hard drives as backups.

Once lost about 6 months of pictures of the kids, never again, have spares hds and a cloud for storage.

Volvo's are great. Still have my '85 744tic, haven't even started it in 2 years.
I just bought a truck myself. '96 F250 4x4, also 7.3, 5-spd. 263k miles. Just drove it back from Portland OR back to WI, and I love the fact that I can set the cruise at 80mph, while towing, and still get mid-14mpg or better. No mods except for the previous owner deleting/bypassing sensors on the fuel bowl system when they went bad. You should remove the sticker on your back window, it has nothing to do with what's in your truck. That logo was done in 1984.

I Love 7.3's. Ya, I know about the sticker, it was on the truck when I bought it. I still like the looks of it even though it should be International Navistar.

Didn't work on the car, but got alot done so I can work on it.

Started building my ghetto $100.00 tig cooler.

Big pump circulates through the torch, little pump circulates water through the heat exchanger. Should work.....

            Also got my heater installed....

....and got the work bench done and lathe setup.

Hoping to actually get cranking on the car this coming weekend

That somewhat a downgrade seeing the previous turbo setup and the humble yoyo in the new car.

Great job on the workbench, plenty of space to work, I wish I had a space like that.

Current place that I live, MD, its expensive per square foot, and very rare to find a home with plenty land to work on.

Got the cooler done. Works like a charm.

Actually started working on the car too. Figured i'd start by finishing the fuel rail I started on 2 years ago.

Turned some mounts in the lathe and got to try out the milling attachment I just got. Works pretty good.

Decided to countersink em for some socket head bolts and got em welded on. Don't know if i'm just rusty or what but they were a bitch to weld on.

Gonna start fitting the tranny to the engine this week. Once that's done, it should be pretty smooth sailing.

I could build em. Not sure how much but I'd have to buy some new tools to build rails for 12mm injectors. I machined the head to accept 14mm injectors. Alot more choices for 14's and cheaper. These are 1000cc and I payed like 175 for em.

That's a great idea, machining the head for the larger injectors. I might have to look into that...

I just used a Ross machine bit to do it. Same bit I used for the rail.

Cleaned the rail. Doesn't look too bad.

Pulled the throttle body apart and welded on the chiggins clamp.
