    Scort4life's New EGT.

    I came across a deal I couldnt pass up.
    It's a 1990 and a half Escort GT. I bought it off a 60 something man, that I met on FEOA.net! Got a real good deal for it and its in almost mint condition. I love it so far, and it runs beautifully.
    Heres a few pictures I took of it after getting the title and everything changed over.

      If I could get my hands on a clean running egt I would die happy. That is an incredible find.

        I think you have found the car to mod. Looks like the paint is clean so all you have to do is engine mods, wheels, and suspension. If only i would have known this in 2001 lol.

              This deal is getting better and better! The gentleman that sold me this car called me up yesterday and said that he was cleaning out his garage and came acroos a whole lot of extra parts, new and remanufactured parts he collected for the EGT thru the years, and I can have it all for free. Yippy!
              I'm gonna try to pick it all up tomarrow.

                Iv'e been tinkering with my new toy. Was cleaning the engine bay and noticed the previous owner installed a Pacesetter header, and tower strut bar. COOL!
                Today I was swapping my GT wheels out for a set of motegi wheels and noticed the car had different springs on. Called the previous owner and found I had Eibach 1.5" springs on. AWESOME! Replaced the catback exhaust with a Megan racing muffler and a custom one piece stainless catback exhaust by a local exhaust shop.

                      For now, The interior is to clean a prestine for me to think about doing anything custom to the interior. Decideing to leave that alone.
                      I'm planing to get a set of K-sport coilovers,and swap out the bushings for some poli, bushings. Possibly update the breaking system,
                      Getting the one quarter panel fixed, and painting to match.
                      No smoked tails, no ricer stuff. I'm thinking of just a nice clean, simple show quality ride, with some go!

                        Interested on hearing what brake mods you are wanting to do. I think I would just go with some good pads and blank rotors and ss lines. Sounds like a solid plan glad to hear your not painting the interior. Looking to get a set of the k sport coil overs also I think I am going with the mx3 ones.
