Rc's 90' 4WD Protege

So I picked up a 90' 4WD Protege awhile back for $1300. Money dump commence. Lol. Here are some pictures of the beauty.

Mind you, I agree its not very pretty.

What do you plan to do to it?

hm...What i WANT to do to it?

In order of importance to me.

Hood swap to 94' style.
Interior swap to Black/Grey.
Power Mirrors.
Power Windows.
Power Locks.
White Painted 7 Spoke EGT rims.
LED Spoiler.
BP swap or BPT if i can get my hands on a running set up. Either will get the VLSD tranny.
GT-R front bumper.
JDM rear bumper.
Euro Adjustable Headlights.
TYC Clear Corners.
KSport Suspension.

Then i'll be happy.

I love how they smashed the hood & then fit a 323/94 pro headlight in its place
the engine bay is pretty clean give its age!

Yeah the headlight makes me laugh.

Its all clean and drives amazing considering the 279k odometer reading.

Slow to update this but...

I picked up a 94' Protege DX to strip the hood and headlights and grill off of... Clean the front up a bit.


Then I picked up a 3 hole for it to clean the front of it up a bit...


Picked up some EDM closing vents from Piotr for it...


Got them installed after messing with it for like 2 hours...



Also picked up a GTR bumper from someone awhile back ago that i'd like to get painted up and throw it on there instead of the 3 hole. (Like to be a little different.)


Picked up a Facelift Grill, LED spoiler, and Familiar rear garnish for when i get my JDM rear bumper which will be soon hopefully!



Picked up a set of White LX mirrors to go on it also, get those ugly ass black ones off!

For now, those are the only real exciting things i've accomplished with it. Need to start really getting it together.

I like where this is headed. Those vents are more work than they should be, but the result is worth it.

Yeah once i found out how to get the passenger dash piece off for the vents it wasn't to bad. but what a stupid way to get it off!!

And you referring to the Ford van with pop up camper? or the VW Bus in the driveway? The VW was restored about 20 years ago so its comin back down hill now. but 10-15 years ago it was super nice to go with them camping and what not in it.

Also jealous of the edm vents. I just can't justify buying them.

Yeah the Bus is nice. They are hippyish VW Bus and a 63' Bug.
