I was reading your log about the intermediate shaft and from my research non of the BP engines have an F series transmissions. Anyways im some what am having the same problem with the intermediate shaft. To work for the mx3 you need the inter shaft from a manual LX protege and the spline count if you have 5sp bp transmission is 26 on the tranny side and 28 on the axel side. Another thing i found out is Mazda does have a JDM G series transmission that comes with a factory LSD, not sure what year but I have one. Thinking it came from the infini protege not sure.

I'm not going to worry about it now. I'm buying a different car next week and this one will need to be sold.
