So many welds!! But will be wrapped soon as I patch all the leaks. And anyone with a KL swapped Escort knows the trouble with making the rear header clear the rack. My plans for next Saturday Aug 22nd:
Cut open the hood
install AC condenser between rad and i/c
begin Radiator venting thru the hood
install all the COLD side piping/couplers, add BOV
Plans for Aug 29th
Re-inforce radiator support, all tied into strut towers
Plans after that
- Begin the front fender flares
- Rear disc brake conversion, install new master to clutch master
- Install NRG fixed bucket seats
- Install LTS rear spoiler
- finish fabricating 3" exhaust
- finish welding all the custom engine mounts
- fabricate mount for custom A/C compressor (KL compressors are too old), add custom hoses & fittings
- Mount oil cooler and oil filter somewhere to get air flow
