Hmmm... Have to rotate distributor forward for it to crank now. Before, I was rotating it to the back to get it to crank. I'm checking the timing now.

Ok. When I jump ten+gnd, I have to rev it up and slowly let off the gas (very slowly) to get it to even idle (idles at about 250rpm). I adjusted the idle screw so it idles up at 750rpm. I set the base timing (with ten +gnd jumped). I pulled the jumper and the car started (probably helps that the engine is warm). It idles at 750rpm (even after having adjusted the idle screw in diag... I don't understand that, but whatever).
The timing mark was very consistent (was very very jumpy before the new distributor).
I gotta wait until tomorrow to test drive it. The wifey is getting a little frustrated [emoji5]
