I used to have an external gate on my older street set up. Paid good money for it back then. Sadly I lost it in transit. I moved all my stuff at least twice and trust me, u looked everywhere for my old manifold. I made this manifold from scratch and didn't want to pay for a gate just yet. OEM gates are still very good but don't dump as large amounts of gas at a time as a dedicated external gate. The original spring pressure for the hx35 is 20psi. I do plan on finding an inexpensive alternative to a weaker spring so that I can control boost under 20psi.

Welp that's alright cause that prototype went in the trash after testing. I'm gonna stick with regular ice. I got a lot done since. I installed an external waste gate after getting it it dynoed. We couldn't control boost. I was spiking over 30 @ 3500rpm. But all in all its a solid build so far. Gonna go back on the rollers in 2 weeks.

been working on my hoses.Trying to minimize the silicone. Ill post pics later. I need to get them out of my phone first. Heres a few bits ive done today.
Don't need all that crazy speedo/tach nonsense when u can just put this old hks timer on. Keeps battery voltage, rpms with shiftlight, accelerometer functions 0-60 and such and speed. Thats enough. Only need a shift light for the track anyway. The rest is bonus.
Made some hard lines for my boost solenoid, wastegate, turbo. Less silicon in the bay is always a good thing. Every line is flared of course. Wouldn't want to ruin a good run because of a hose coming off. I didn't want to spend on all the fittings so i went with this option.
Oh ya the waste gate! I couldn't find a good spot for it so I went the extreme route. Straight on the turbo!
Can't wait till next friday. Hopefully will be able to hold a steady 30-35psi.

Alright well **** got twisted. My tuner couldn't tune that said friday and then I had to do all the flooring in the house after that. So no retune. It will have to wait till summer. I'm going to make a trailer for this car and get a small truck by then. I spent so much just carrying it around last time.
I made front shocks out of Smart rear springs i had laying around. I dropped my smart last year so i had the original springs hanging around. I need soft fronts so this is it. Lower and softer. I really don't want to spend on suspension until I see what this thing does on the track.
Stock shock to be dismembered.
Making top hat from and centering cup for new spring isolator.
Testing. Also installed fresh top plates. Perfect!
It doesnt do it much justice. The front is actually 2 inches lower then the back. Took a while to make but it cost me less then 100$ per side.
Also new hood cut out and ****ing around with it because im not sure what to do with it at this point.
