ok .... you've got things messed up.... the nuetral switch does nothing but..... slightly raise the RPMS to smooth out shifts.... kinda like an automatic rev match.

nuetral switch and back up light switch...
Tear apart a tranny or 2 you'll see.

the nuetral switch may or may not need to be installed .... i don't remember. as for the swap.

You have to jump the big black/yellow and the big black/red wires on a WHITE connector which is/was at the top of the trans. It's a 3 wire connector, the other wire is a small red/blue one.

The answer is a few posts below this one titled" Auto to 5-spd conversion"...

Anyway-- Here is the thing you are looking for:

This harness is located on the drivers side of the car, sorta under the VAF.

And for those who posted above and laughed or posted stupid responses-- this has to be looped or the car will not start.

I think most of us didn't understand the question the first time around.

Unless you have done the Auto->Manual conversion.. then you would not know.

                          About the transmission swap

Hey man what up Im just on the straight away of finishing the swap . I fixed the nuetral swith problem and starts perfect. My Problem is that the clutch pin doesn't make it to the to the cylinder so Im not able shift into gears. My transmission is from the kia Sephia . Any suggestions?

weld extra onto the clutch pin to make up for the clearance... then have it machined properly.
