If you want a synthetic ATF, use Red Line Synthetic D4 ATF. This provides an API GL-4 level of gear protection required in our M/T. Otherwise, any mineral oil based ATF that is specified as having a GL-4 or GL-5 level of protection.

thats my question where to get redline d4 ATF

i say just put what ever was in it before back in it... if it was red ATF if it was nasty sludge ****... and reaked to high heaven... use gear lube.

I use gear oil, when I replaced my clutch there was almost no gear oil in there... filling it back up made my shifts so much smoother

I'm lucky because there is a speed shop 7 miles from my home that sells a complete selection of Red Line products. If you go to their website, you can search for either your closest local dealer or an on-line seller. Go to:
Red Line has a reputation with racers and enthusiasts alike for creating products that perform and protect better than any on the market. No compromises.

no such thing as clutch oil..... if its a 5spd or an auto... not in the protege/323's at least. the clutch master cylinder gets fluid from the brake master cylinder resivior. fill the 5spd at the speedo gear with tranny fluid of whatever sorts is in it already. or have fun flushing the old **** out.

um 3-4 on the g tranny i think its like 3.45 not sure anymore... just keep filling... you can fillit up until you can't get the speedogear in without it forcign some out from displacement. that is ok.
