I need to find a 93 protege 1.8L DOHC, transmission. i have looked everywhere and all i can find is the SOHC ones if anybody has one let me know.

Try www.car-part.com or mazda recyclers on the web. I would try car part first b/c it will probably have the tranny dirt ass cheap (I paid 200 bux for mine with low miles and a new axle) @ some j/y that you dont know about.
