actually 1 tooth is more then what is needed & will hurt performance rather then help out much.

iirc, 1 tooth =~7 degrees, and that's the difference in cam timing for a B6T and B6ZE (and B6D).
There hasn't been camgears available for years that matched the B6T alignment "slots". Maybe they changed the BP(T) alignment marks to match a Miata?
The Mazdaspeed camgears only use 3 bolts to hold the alignment just like a HKS gear.
I'd look for Jubiride, Toda, Fidanza, or Unothrodox gears, anything with 4 or more alignment bolts.Last edited by gtx510; 10-27-2006, 05:39 AM.

randomly in this thread i see it being implied that BPT cam gears are different than NA ones? i was under the impression that the gears are identical, and that the location of the dowel pin on the cam and the cam itself is different.
