i got a similar one with a hayden ps cooler i got off ebay. It looks fine in terms of working, but i haven't tried it since i don't really have any use for it, as i get my readings from the turbo lines.
So if you want it, i'll let it go for half the price of the one in the auction i can check if the mazda filter will work fine with it and take some pics of it tomorrow.

well here are pics of my adapter:
as for the radiator - i'm using a howe #342BM with custom end tanks. Custom, because the actual #342BM comes with no filler neck - that's what i got the first time i ordered, but howe people were nice enough to correct the problem (was their fault) by getting me a custom one made with the same size core and regular end tanks.

well the thing i used is a piece from an oil relocation kit to show what it will look. The 4 holes are: two are on the sandwich for ps cooler (or sensors), two are for the lines that come from the block outlet.
i got all that together (the relocation kit, the ps cooler and the adapter) and the plan was to run ps cooler on the escort, relocate the filter on the 240sx so i could run 2 gauges off of the relocation lines. The adapter was never part of the grandeur scheme, so i have no use for it.
As for whether it clears or not.... it's about 1.75" (a little less actually) thick. I glanced underneath the car today - seems like it'd fit.
