whats up peeps i beleive my 94 Protege' finally gave out after about 350,000 miles of service lol... i need to know what motors like ford/mazda will interchange with a 1.8L SOHC '94 Mazda Protege' DX with the least amount of changing additional things like ecu, wiring harness, trannys, and stuff like... preferably not have to change anything lol... i would go with the DOHC but i'm not sure if the motor mounts are the same or if it will bolt onto the sohc tranny.... ty

might want to change the tranny while your'e in there - 350 k on an f-series is good, but it might give with the upgraded power of a BP, assuming thats what you're replacing it with

thanks guys for the replies... but i finally got it home where i could check it out... 2 of my plugs were loose, so i just changed them out and she ran like a jewel lol... so gonna see if i can hit 400k lol b4 it blows...Comment
