    Custom Turbo for a SOHC?

Alright, I'm trying to find out some info about Turbo'd B6's.

I'm interested in finding someone who can build a custom Turbo Manifold(not one that's made of threaded pipe), how much power is the little SOHC capable of with this turbo, what else needs to be changed in order to run efficiently(valves, springs)?

    Any help would be great!

Please don't respond with "Just drop a BPT in it", or anything to those effects.

    Thanks

A member had a B8 turbo for a while. Give him a pm his SN is sohc 1.8t, but he isn't to active. I thought he used a BP throttle-body and had to make a custom fuel controller.

I have no idea how the little B6 will respond to boost.

I think your going to have to make your self a custom manifold flange but for all the rest I'd go here.

the B6 wont last long at all, they're a one time use engine only, the factory doesnt even recomment rebuilding them or boring them out past 0.20

the B8 could take more of a beating due to it having the same bottom end as a BP. if you do plan on boosting, you might want to think on swapping a BP head over, and dont worry about the vics...and source out a GTX intake manifold. either way, a headgasket should be installed and the head should be plained, ARP head bolts...BP head swap or not, just for reliability.

with the B8 bottom end, and the BP top end, you will lower your compression a bit, which will allow for higher boosting levels.

      hope this has helped.
