Do the BP and BPT share all the seals and gaskets? I mean they should, right? And the water pump should interchange too I think.

If somebody knows I'm wrong please tell me.

i'm pretty sure they do b/c the bpt is the same thing only with a turbo

I believe all gaskets are the same. Not 100% on the intake and exaust gaskets though. I've heard the water pump on the gtx was a higher flowing piece and can get one from corksport for 80 I think.

I was under the impression that all the dohc pumps were more or less the same.

I just checked corksport and saw a "Mazdaspeed oil pump" for small nose crank, but no water pump.

Mazdaspeed pump is the Mazda Comp/Motorsports unit.

B6N7-14-100A C - Oil Pump 1988-90 High volume pump fits only 1988-90 1.6 DOHC (GTX) engines.

It should also fit some +90 Capri and Miata engines.

call them and ask them about the water pump. i havent asked them personally but i have read that it flows more.

Every gasket interchanges. But if your fast idle controll valve goes out, you will need to replace it with one from a SOHC model.
