I have been looking at various engine and fuel related items and ran across a couple of fuel pressure regulators, even found one for under $50... is this someone i need or should get?

The aem will bolt right on with no mods it just needs a different o-ring for it to seal right. 50 cent part at pepboys. The return line can you'd have to just run hose or buy a AN fitting to mate with the stock fitting. If you buy a rail from me and want to run it with the AEM it will work just let me know when your buying it so I can provide you with the o-ringIll post pics up later...hello 4g63 nice to meet you

The FPR onthe BP doesn't have the nipple that sticks into the rail like a Miata, B6T, B6, Nissan?
If it does...
For a turbo swap an easy/cheap option is the stock FPR off a Capri XR2. Free at the junkyard?
For about $100-120 you can get the Nismo adjustable FPR. It only changes the base pressure, ratio is still 1:1.
For about $200 you can get a nice (even Corky Bell said so) Synapse FPR that'll bolt onto the rail. They make a Honduh version too. This is the "hot, new" FPR, it adjusts the base pressure and the ratio under boost.
BEGI also makes a nice FPR, it's the old standard and also about $200. It does base pressure and ratio too. Corky Bell designed it a while back, Miata guys love it. It doesn't bolt onto the fuel rail but Nismo, Sard, and others (Flyin Miata?) make an adapter that bolts to the rail and has an AN fitting for SS lines.
Make sure that you use fuel resistant o-rings....

You might be able to get something similar at McMaster-Carr?
