    yes the 1.6L and the 1.8L are different.

    ands this is getting usless like mike said. robert you are looking at an expencive job getting rings replace. set aside at least $150 for parts with s/h and a buffer. also replacing piston rings is not a "parking lot job" it involves disassemling most of your block. that is a lot of down time for the car.

      yeah...i think adam and i are going to do it when i go up, as well as replacing head gasket...setting aside a weekend for it

        sounds good. watch out if you hit a snag it might take more than a weekend
