    Sqweel

I have a loud sqweeling nose when I start my car, im assuming its the alternator going out, it stops after i get it up to a higher RPM, any idea?

its a belt slipping, id replace both belts while you got it apart... they arent too tough but they take a bit of time if you havent done them before, you can do them both in 10 min after the first time.
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

      Yup, it's a loose/worn belt.

My belt did this too when my water pump went because it did loosen up... just check that to make sure as well.
