Well. Bought those bronze valve guides from SI-valves. Head is now at machine shop and they will do radius valve seat to intake and 3-angle to exhaust. Dunno how things are there. But here they do radius valve angles really often and it dosnt cost any extra compared to 3 angle or 6 angle etc.

Flow charts. There is 2 charts. Lower one is head with supertech valves +1mm exhaust, crappy angle job and little ported intake.

Better one has ported intake and exhaust, supertech valves with +1mm exhaust, better angle job and intake valve has diffrent kinda back cut angles.

you would have to replace the valve seat. it might be possible. but i dont' know the benefits or consequences of it

earlier model ones. 90-97 anything after that has a change in valve stem height- due to solid lifters

im still confused. the Supertech oversized valves are 1.3mm longer than the standard valves. would that cause a problem or would the HLA's adjust for that and be fine?

second question....the Supertech intake valves have a stem diameter of 5.96mm and the exhaust valves have a stem diameter of 5.94mm. From what i found for valve specs the intake valves stem diameter should be between 5.970-5.985mm and the exhaust valve stem diameter between 5.694-5.979mm. the Supertech valve stems are slightly smaller. Wouldn't this cause a problem with to much clearance between the stem and guide?

sounds like you might not have the right valves, or they shipped you the wrong ones?

I got some OEM sized Supertechs and bronze guides for the 4AGE in my AE86, and love'em. Dunno what angles they used.
