I was wondering if anyone could help out with this question,
the motor that was in my 90 Protege LX, burnt a valve in the 2nd hole because the injector cracked and could not supply enought fuel, so it detonated and broke the valve (exaust valve).
I removed the head and I already had a rebuilt head from a 1991 Ford Escort GT all ready, we installed the new head, did everything to what the Mazda Service Manual states.
Now the Car blows lots of smoke, (smells like oil) overheats when under a load (interstate speeds) and there is very little to no heat, and no heat when on the interstate, Timing has been adjusted and set correctly, water pump replaced.
I cannot figure this one out if any one could help out that would be much help!
