Rev kill at 4500 if floord

I just put my car on the dyno got 92 gtx swap in it but when i floor t it feels like it leans out around 4500 or 5000 but when i dont floor it and g rev up slowly it goes all the way up 2 6500 easy with no problem what could it be? also my boost is at 9 psi and got rx fuel pump and stock vaf timing is around 8??

What'd the dyno show your AF doing?
'90 AWD Protege, full GTR drivetrain swap, ~320 whp daily driver, RIP, and
'90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.

some one said that its the fuel cut rev limiter that i have to take a pin out of the gtx ecu for it to go passed 5000 ok with out it leaning out???? is that true???

the wiring is in the VAF i believe, you'll have to search around. I'd post in the forced induction section if i were you. You're definately hitting boost cut. Have you tried adjusting your VAF?

Check timing and spark plug gap.

spark plug gap is set correct at .28 and timing was around 9 but i think it should actually be around 1o or 11?

It sure sounds like boost cut (which is the vaf cutting the fuel because of the rush of air). But if you are using the stock vaf I dont see why it would cut. Look up rx7 vaf and there is some instruction on how t adjust it.

if you floor it in 4th and 5th without a ported wastegate and have a free flowing intake and exhaust you will hit boost cut

my boost is 11psi all day no controller but when im just cruising in 4th and try to floor it i hit boost cut

the car will feel like it bucks and you have no power right?
