    The 1.8 DOHC pipe don't have the nipple. The others do

        I just got a new pipe for dohc and its diferent than sohc. the bracket that bolts to the mainfold stud is at angle so pipe is longer.will post pictures when i get the other one out.

            thats because the heads are different, and the exhaust manifold stud is clearly located differently in reference to the water pump.

                That's odd cause I'm using a SOHC pipe on my BP... and it fits fine.

                Also how come your SOHC doesn't have the water nipple sticking up?

                    I work for vw/mazda dealer, when i was ordering some parts vin# was used from 4wd car.I never ck back then if there is 2 different pipes. Not a big deal just happy the car runs.
