waterpump, rad hose

My bpt is still overheating........what about the hose rad??......yes they seem SOFT??... they get hot .... and i hear the liquid buble in the radiator, so its hot.
And the waterpump is runing!!!...........could it run ,but not 100%? Maybye just change the water pump??
Maybye the strap of the waterpump?

did u changed the thermostat? did u look to the thermo fan switch?

maybe you can try putting a lower temp thermostat too, I did that kind of without thinking on my B8 and I could never get it to warm up in the winter.

I am having a very similar problem. i just burn thru the antifreeze. it has been boiling out for a while with very little leaking, it just runs out one day and i add more water....... all the gaskets are fine. and no moisture from the exhaust. i heard that the spring on an old radiator cap could cause this?

its on my check list of things to get along with a new thermostat.

i decided to piggy back a post on here.

Any ideas?

i didnt change the rad cap .....!!! i will look for that ...... yes the thermostathas been change...its a 180 degree
does not leak!!!!
fan kick in and never stop until de gauge temp goes to H
