Having trouble starting my 1.6l mazda
hi i am stumped and frustrated .. my 1.6l 323 5spd started bogging here and there.. so i changed the spark plugs, wires, and i took off the plastic air box and replaced it with a cone filter.. after that it ran excelent had no problems untill 2 weeks ago i went to start it and the starter was doing it's job of kicking over the engine but it would not fire up so i turned the key to get the fuel pump to prime the engine but i could not hear anything needless to say i kept trying and it worked. NOw that's the events leading up to this post. I have changed the fuel pump, fuel filter and it's still doing the same thing not always but still frustrating i really could use some advice thanks a lot

is your catalytic converter plugged up?
disconnect behind front pipe and try starting it...91 GT- Li'l Bee (under construction)

Check your coolant temp sensor. Unplug it and try starting the car.Comment

My Cat is new ... what else could be a problem.. i will try all the problems when i get a few more replies on what the problem could be.. my brother and i think that it could be the throttle body.. could that lead to any of this ?Comment
