    valve installation

Can anyone tell me how you got the keepers on your valve stems. I've had people come over to help me with it and I just can't figure out how to get them to stay on.

I cut a deep socket so I could get to the valve stem but I can't get them to stay on when i lift the compression on the valve spring....

I've heard use a dab of like wheel bearing grease and place it on with needle nose pliers.

I've been using tweezers and they seem to work well Maybe I'll try the grease with it though.

Yea the haynes manual says stick some in the U where it will contact the stem so this way it kind of sticks to it then squese the 2 parts together and release the compression
