    B.p.t

    Quick question!
How do I know the difference between the BP block and the GTX block.
Would it say something on the block, because their selling me a motor and I want to know if its the BP [ US version ] or the its really a GTX block.

    Pics would really help!!

BP26 on GTX block IIRC. That being said the block itself is identical.

BP blocks are identical- my BPD block is simply marked "BP", just like my BP05 and ZE blocks.

Externally i think you're going to struggle to identify it. Only thing you can do is look at stuff bolted to it. If it has a head it'll have BP26 on it and sump will have a return line for the turbo. If you don't have either of those, the pistons in the BPT are dished (low compresssion) where as the BP ones are flat.
