ATT GURUS: BHA Pro w/1st Gen GTX motor swap HEATING ISSUE!

    Sup guys...
I decided to post over here in the BG Chassis since
I dont think theres anyone in the BH section with a BPT swap...

    Swapped radiator, electric fan.
Car idles pefectly and temp gauge is at "40%" even after
20minutes just sitting at idle in 90 degree Miami heat.

    Thermostat has been removed.

PROBLEM: When I go take her for a spin...after about 15 minutes she'll start
over heating VERY SLOWLY she wont get to red ...
but while driving if I let go rolling in neautral the temp needle goes down some...ofcourse it doesnt go down back to normal temp since its already heated up more than normal...
I also swapped out the belt that runs the alternator and I THINK the water
pump, which screaches like a m*****r 70% of the time...

Any idea what this might be?

    Water pump?

Id appreciate any help with this...
    thanks guys.

I'm going to say water pump if it's screeching.

Even if the Thermostat is removed you should have a restrictor in its place. If you note when you pull a thermostat it is like a giant washer. Cut out the thermostat portion and leave the washer. This helps reduce flow so the heat from the engine can be transferred into the coolant. If it flows too fast the engine can actually over heat.

As for the noise, if the belt is snug, new, and not oil contaminated it may be the WP itself is on the way out. Verify that you did not overtighten the belt killing the ALT or WP bearings. Either should rotate smoothly.

cooling fan. You could wire it to just run all the time.

If you have completely removed the thermostat then that is the problem. It is not allowing the water to have enough time to cool in the radiator before it goes back into the engine
I live my life a quarter pounder at a time. And for those 500 calories or more, I'm free. I need FRIES! Two of them. The big ones. Oh, and I need them tonight. You're lucky the double shot of BBQ sauce didn't blow the seam on your nugget box. There she is, 2 pounds of pure beef. My dad ate it in 9.0 seconds flat. Check it out, it's like this. If I lose, winner takes my happy meal. But if I win, I take the burger and the toy. To some people, that's more important.

But the thermostat is only removed from the center, the screw housing is still in place.... and its been removed since we did the BPT swap 6+ years ago.
