Ok guys iam doing a bp turbo swap in my dx and iam using the b8 tranny right now. what i want to know is there a good clutch and flywheel to use out there that wont slip. I have been searching on here all night a cant find what would all work good on that setup. So any help would work great.

Don't know about the clutch setup but good luck with that one. G series trannys are touchy also. I'd find a g series if i were you.

the g is the strongest for the bp other than a toyota swap, and it is weak on a bpt. I blew my diff pin at 10 psi on a g series tranny because they can't take too much hp. 275whp is about as much as one can take with a better diff or welded diff. After that you will probably start stripping gears.

            What is 180 - 200whp going to do to a G-series?

I don't understand why all these trannies are blowing up on you guys. I have ~265whp and that is running through a 275K km old stock G-series. Stock open diff, no welded pin etc.. I have yet to blow it up. And it's been ripped on plenty. Maybe mine has been "work hardened" after being 20 years old lol..

on the whole clutch thing though you should go with a KY clutch they are pretty sweet I hear and not too expensive and I'm sure it would work with either the F tranny or G tranny.

F series clutches are smaller overall diameter and smaller input shaft diameter the clutches do not interchange

except 5th gear. I'm tired of 3000+ rpms anything past 100km/h already, and I have only had the G for 3 1/2 weeks.

5th gear swap helps you out some but not a whole lot, it's 341 rpm drop in 5th IIRC, any F2 car, 626, mx6, ford probe, I'm pretty sure all of them have it. helps some, I did it in 1 hour just so I didn't spin the engine up so high on the highway all the time! and it gave me about 2 mpg or so.
