Sometimes it wants to die as I drive

I have tried multiple things to find out what is causing my problem and just can't seem to figure it out. It just starts to choke when the rpms get low. Sometimes when I am driving and others when it is just sitting there. At first, I thought it was bad gas. I was coming back from crazypunkerguys(Nick) place and got some gas and once I arrived in Chicago it started when I was doing lots of stop and go. It doesn't happen all the time but it's about every other day now. It sometimes won't start after it turns off or I turn it off. It cranks over just won't start. I sprayed some starting fluid in it when I was trying to crank it over and got nothing as a result. So I figured it was an ignition problem. Changed the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor. I even tried the vaf but still wouldn't crank over. Got some lunch, came back, and it started up fine. Same thing happen later on. Oh yeah, I got the ignition coil checked and it was fine. Any ideas????

Sounds like the igniter. My girl had a 95 accord with problems to the main relay and whenever you would start the car and shut it off it would take like 10 to 15 minutes to restart. The possible problems were the igniter and the main relay. It ended up being the main relay.

I don't always have problems restarting the car. Just sometimes when it wants to choke out. I can turn the car on, drive it, and if it doesn't choke on me it will start like normal after I turn it off. I have to floor it when it does choke. The rpms just rise really slow and sometimes I have to pull over.

I don't think its fuel related because I tried using starting fluid when it wouldn't start and that did nothing. Someone told me it could be the iac. I just been to busy working to make a junkyard run.

I really thought it was ignition related. I have tried changing the disty cap and rotor, wires, igniter, aic, vaf, injectors, ignition coil, and ecu. If anyone can suggest any ignition parts that I forgot please let me know! I am going to start changing the fuel stuff soon. Spark plugs will be change and tried out sometime this week but don't really think that is the problem.

What do you mean? If it's grounded. I believe so cuz it starts just sometimes acts funny. If doesn't do it all the time. Almost seems to do it when it has warmed up.

I'd bet on teh coolant temp sensor, try unpluggin it and see if the issue goes away, if it does you've found ur issue
