    clutch bleeding issue

so after installing the new clutch slave on the mx3 I did a full bleed and fluid exchange on the system but i still get a loose pedal 1 out of 4 shifts!

sitting still with the motor off there is zero issues, only happens in motion

holding the clutch down to the floor when it does work does not result in loss of pressure at all

pumping the clutch after it fails to pressurize the slave cylinder works

pressure goes from 100% to 0% when it does happen

checked the seal on the new slave and it is not showing any signs of leaking.

    any ideas?

    Found the issue:

the seal around the top of the clutch master cylinder had become dry rotted and was letting air in (and the slightest pit of fluid out)

    any recommendations on good replacements?

I thought it may have been the issue but at first look it looked fine. And it worked flawlessly when at a dead stop. It only seemed to fail while moving.

Either way I'm replacing it again after only 1.5 years
