What engine do you have in it? BG Proteges only had BP or B8. Same block either way.

I run a b6 or b8 type-f tranny on my track whore 323 with a bp and i have no trouble until the diff broke... but it last enough if youre not racing all the time like i do with that car. for about 50 bucks you can find a type-f tranny and with another 100 bucks you can find cv shaft clutch/flywheel from a b6/b8 and the front and rear support and swap it with 3 bottles of synchromesh (50-60 buck but it worth ) and youre done! Personally i think this is a cheap&best way to do a tranny swap with any b-series until youre going under boost.

        sorry for my bad english.
