    GTX vacuum system questions

Ok guys, thanks for your help so for. Three questions:

    1. Is the wastegate solenoid needed? I feel it's only there to ensure you don't exceed 7psi. I'm planning to run an mbc set for 12-14psi.

    2. The Fpr solenoid, is it needed? I don't believe I have one, can I substitute a solenoid off of the bp05? From my understanding it helps with hot starting?

    3. Check valve for purge control, what's a good source for those? I was thinking te check valve that came off the cruise control might work. What all have you guys done?

    Any other tips?

    Thanks!

No you don't need the wastegate solenoid, not sure about the fpr solenoid but I would keep it if I were you, and the check valve is just any check valve, you can buy one thats the right size and be done. I just unhook it all together and used that port for my boost guage.

Thanks for confirming my thoughts on the wastegate solenoid, as far as the FPR solenoid goes, I'd like to keep it but I don't have one in the first place. If its needed I can try and make something work, the BP05 has some solenoids on the side of the intake that I might be able to snag.
