93 Mazda protege (NEED HELP)

Aight hey everyone im new to club protege and the forum
but i need some help with a few things.....
Right now i have a 1993 Mazda protege with a 1.8 dohc auto
-_- what i wanna do is Get a full swap because
My tranny is Going and My engine is knocking
and i would really like To keep my car n just change it
to stick but I have no knowledge about Mazda or
any full swaps that would be a str8 fit, so if
any one can help me
I'd really appreciate it.

I live in Tampa and would the tranny fit idk much bout Mazda swaps its new for me

basically you need the following for an auto to manual swap:

clutch master and slave plus the line
both axles
jackshaft (supporting shaft on the back of the motor)
transmission
shifter linkage.
wiring harnesses (engine, fuel rail. body*)
clutch/brake pedal assembly
flywheel, pressure plate, clutch
lower transmission mounts (just the brackets)

Wow thanks that really helps a lot but I still don't know what motor n tranny would fit into the car it's 93 dx with a 1.8 dohc I've herd that hey have other engines with like 180 hp that's a str8 fit just don't kno what it is

thats the turbo motor from japan, ebay has them once in awhile. there is also the V6 kl swap like the one in my sig

Dam sounds fast, is eBay my best bet to getting one cus I'd like to do a full swap for that motor like tranny and all just don't kno where to start

You have a dx with a Dohc motor? Dx came with a Sohc. Lx came Dohc. Did the previous owner do a motor swap or you reading into the protege the wrong way? Snap a pic of your engine bay and we can tell you what you have.

I noticed you wanting to buy a gtr setup and might think that's a direct swap, slow down. There's mote to it than just swapping the motor and trans. Spend a little time going through the forced induction and engine swap sections of this forum. Do some research.
