M-tuned vs. Belfab H beam rods

Just bought a set of Belfab H beam rods with the Carr sps bolts and have a set of M-tuned h beam rods with arp bolts.

Which are the better stronger units? should I switch bolt hardware or leave them as is?

I am starting two motor builds. One will have all the fancy bits, vvt head, twinscroll turbo mani, custom intake mani, new forged pistons, etc.

The other will be not as fancy but still a capable motor and will utilize a plain bp4w head, cast crank and used wiseco forged pistons.

Will both engines see boost? If not, I'd run the heavier rods in the turbo application to keep rotational mass down on the n/a one.

I had read that too but I have also read that each manufacture claims theirs come from here and the other from there.

My thoughts are maybe the rough piece is the same and each manufacture has their own place to do finishing machining.

Either way I got both sets for less than what one set usually sells for retail.

Both will see boost, one I will try and max out flow on a HX-35 and the other I am not sure. I don't have a car for the second engine yet

there are many post about this on miata turbo. CAT, Belfab, M-tuned, Eagle, ect are all the same! the only difference is quality control and the bolts. Some offer arp 2000 hardware and some offer stand hardware. The one thing that Eagle and M tune claim is they will weigh match them with in a small margin and then they stamp there names on them. So if you get a set of cat or belfabs, there QC maybe hit or miss as far as hardware and weight. But essentially there all from the same place.

Sweet! I plan to have rotating assemblies balanced regardless.
