    My LX Won't Rev Past 3500. What Gives?

    Ok my car has been running absolutely great until today. While on the freeway I was in 5th, and all of a sudden I had severe power loss. The car runs fine while it's not in VICS, but as soon as I try to engage it; No go. It Sputters. Like I said the car was fine. but it started running like ass out of nowhere. I'm driving it as is for now, but it's kind of a bummer. I'll check my battery connections, and perhaps get a new fuel inj relay.
    I'm stumped on this one, but I did notice my temperature get hotter than normal when I pulled over to the side of the road. Visual inspection on the wires and the dist checked out. I'm stuck on this one. Any Help is mad appreciated. Thanks.

      Did the little screw back off the VAF wheel adjuster?

        I don't suspect the VAF to be honest. I put in a brand new one in august. Cost me like 200 bucks. i'll inspect further in the morning just to double check. Thanks for the suggestions. Super appreciate it.

          turn the car off and on a few times and maybe you'll get a Check engine light out of it so you can diagnose it a bit better.

          Could be coolant temp sensor or a vac leak.

            Your fresh air intake hose doesn't happen to have a tear in it does it?

              ok so here's what happened. Before all this went down my battery terminals were really bad. If I jiggled them it would start and such, but I was never really getting proper grounds. Got new terminals, and the problem went away. Hopefully that did it. I double checked everything you guys suggested, and didn't find a fault. Car runs good now. Thanks for your help!
