    Turbo IHI RHF6 VJ23

    Hi!!
My Mazda 323 GTR Turbo has broken.. And it cannot be repaired..
Do you know which is the best turbo to substitute the original one?

I need to buy one and i don't know which is the best for it..

    Thanks in advance!

Your VJ23 has a specific manifold flange. Like I told you before, you would need to have an adapter made for your manifold to accept any other turbo, whether it be a T25 or a T3 flange. or move to a custom exhaust manifold. You are best now looking for another VJ23 or have yours rebuilt.

I didn't think that was possible. What exactly do you mean by rebuilt?

I keep hearing rumors as to how some shop out there can put the turbine housings on a garrett cartridge, never seen such a thing myself.
'90 AWD Protege, full GTR drivetrain swap, ~320 whp daily driver, RIP, and
'90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.

Wasnt Ferdi trying to do a GB for adapter flanges? This would be the easiest solution.

need to find the shop that made the Cork Sport hybrids. Those were well done.

Talked to Derrick today from cork sport. He has been there for a long time. He said they used Alamo turbo in Kent Washington. I called them and recalled building them but said they where no longer building stuff like that. Not enough demand for them

whats the problem with your turbo? oil consumption, shaft play, bearing noise?
i ask because i recently had to swap mine because of an oil leak on the exhaust side and also bearing sounds.
