So my manual rack conversion is all bolted up. Wheels on, ready for alignment.
If everything goes well, I will then look at how I can run the A/C compressor after deleting the P/S and swapping to manual rack. Wanted to jot down some things.
The A/C tensioner bracket for Non-P/S optioned BGs was:
Part#: BP01-15-951. This is just for the bracket..
*Anyone know what the hell 15-920 is used for?

The miata guys like to say the part call out is:
Part#: BP01-15-930. This actually is the whole assembly, collar, idler pulley, AND bracket.
Obviously, like most non-P/S specific parts they are discontinued.
Then the Miata guys thought they were crafty because they pulled a Sephia call-out from the dealer:
Part#: 0K201-15-930. Then, I'm sure 105 crap NAs later, they depleted stock.
So now they either use a zombie P/S pump for the wheel, or,
they just throw on a small Dayco belt and shim the A/C comp bolts if needed.
Part#: 4PK0775 or 5040305.
Unless anyone else knows a trick.
*Should BP Escort/Tracer/Lazer etc. FF cars have interchange?
