BPT head shaved

My head was warped/damaged and they took off .022. i can get back .008 with the .040 head gasket. what should I do about the rest? adjustable cam gears? will i have piston vale interference? thank guys

go look at what the miata nerds are doing for reference but iirc they're shaving the heads a bunch for a cheap compression bump and can go pretty far before making it an interference motor

worst case, put it together with some plastigage or whatever and find out how much clearance you have now

you will be fine with that amount shaved off. enjoy the bump in compression! use a standard MLS head gasket and do your self a favor and splurge for some ARP headstuds while its apart.
