1) What is the normal idle for a 1990 Protege LX 1.8 SOHC? Mine idles around 500 and I that seems to me a little low....
2) Whenever I decelerate, I push in the clutch all the way and use the brake to bring me to a hault once I reach about 20 or 30 km/h. However, the RPMs continue to drop down to about 100rpm or sometimes 0! whenever come to a stop by pushing the brake while holding the clutch in.... Any ideas as to what might be casuing this? My best guess would be that the clutch isn't working properly...
Anywho, that's about it... it's kind of embarassing having to start the car again at an intersection when someone else is sitting right beside me, either in my car or in the car next to me
