yes i will try, the hole car needs a lot of work rust wise on the outside, ect.
and it will get boosted, either sohc turbo set-up of dohc boosted set-up, it all depending on hows healthy the sohc motor is (fuel pump is out rite know i ran it on starting fluid and it sounded good) i have a walbro 255 on its way as we speak.
there are also other factors that come into play to deside either sohc or dohc set-up,well i will stop blabing out that.
i pulled the rear bumper off today, the only problem i see with it is the mounting of the bumper, so any thoughts about mounting would be appricated, like i said i have a few egts and there bumpers dont pull apart the pro's it a one peice deal so this is all a litttle new to me.
also i will not be cutting up the bumper till this weekend when i can get a extra hand to hold the bumper as i cut, otherwise if i try by myself it will wobble to much.
    5 boosted bp cars,why...

back from the dead. I ended up cutting the top, bottom and arches off the bumper and removing about 2.5", i then "welded" the arches back on with my soldering gun and about three rivets on each side. I ended up using one of my spare mx3 rear crash bar/bumper support, the foam from the mx3 as well but it needed to be cut down in length and shaved a bit off the top. I kept the original mounting holes with the arches, a couple of screws where the plate holder to the bumper support and it stays in place just great. Over all I think I cut just a little too much off but it looked good. The bad news is that the 323 has been sitting for the last couple of years waiting for paint. I will see if I have any pictures on the computer, I lost a bunch from a crash.

dali, sitting for a couple years? damn must miss it, try to find some pics tho!

yea JNICEs bumper turned out sharp, i like the fact he left a little bit of the blue show before it breaks off to the black trim.

True. I was wondering how the combo of the egt front bumper with a mx6 front lip combined with a rear cut bumper with a heavily modified accord lip would look together.

I gotta find a egt bumper and a mx6 front lip.

idk if the mx6 lip will fit on the EGT bumper, might not be wide enough, and long enough to meet up with the wheel wells.

Either way, the EGT front bumper (when properly modified!) looks tits on a BG, but til that escort headlight bulge is fixed, it looks out of place.

i think a 240sx lip fits ok...I believe LEX ran that on his EGT.

I still think the 626 lip would be too shallow for the EGT bumper, the protege/323 bumpers are very tapered at the bottom.

Tracer LTS bumper would be sexy as hell, there's one about 4hrs from me and I'm still thinking about it hahaha.

i had the rear bumper idea in my head from the time i was seeing those jdm bumpers and the price to even get them. i have a different approach to get this project done. just waiting on warmer weather so i can get some spares from the jy in case i mess up. will post pics once project is done.

Do not mold a JDM bumper to a USDM bumper. It will ruin it completely.
