to be honest bg's in general are notorius for having wiring problems... horns, seatbelt position sensor... i.e. the neverending seatbelt light, and the dashlights problems... among others

its unfortunate really, i had the seatbelt prob, and have the lights prob, a friend of mine has the horn prob as well

I traced the horn problem today. My detective work lead me to believe that the horn pad wore out and wouldn't stop blowing... so the obvious solution was to cut the horn wire.

I went to the dealership and ordered a new horn pad assembly.
          Part# BR71-32-020 Price= $18.00

Here's pics of the horn pad assembly:

Inside of steering wheel pad, the copper piece is the horn pad assembly:

There is a pad on the inside of the assembly that seperates the contacts unless pressed upon. The pad breaks down over time causing the horn to stay activated. Here it is split in half:

I was going to rig it but for $18.00 I thought I would just buy a new one.

that is a good idea but i was thinking about a set of hella high tone horns.

i did find a air horn set for cheap. i might go for that but idk 135db might be to loud for me too
