I remember hearing that the 323 LX, very rare in the US, came with a 1.9L SOHC that is almost the same as the escourt wagon motor. It also came with many of the amenities that we swap out of an LX to get.
since Protege gt's 323 has the sunroof, I would be willing to bet his is a 1.9L.
I believe someone on this board had a 323 with a sunroof, and he is from North America. I have only seen pics of one of these. It was on ebay and up for sale in New Hampshire. i wish I lived closer to there as I would have grabbed it up really quick.

some bodykit materials aren't that much fun. i know some kits are using a impact composites. it just a rethink in the make up of a well known composite, ie fiberglass. It can actually take an impact, similiar to impact plastics.
I'd be cool if a GTR replica kit came into production soon.Last edited by Protoss; 02-10-2004, 03:26 AM.When you turn your car on... does it return the favor?

A Protege driver named Brock
Once said 7 seconds he'd clock.
So his engine he goosed
With much too much boost,
And drove a rod through his block.
