yeah i just recently replaced my driver's side motor. fun stuff i tell ya. lots maneuvering to get that out with the regulator so i could unbolt it from there. at first i thought i'd be able to remove the motor w/o taking out the window and regulator, but there wasn't enough room. wasn't that bad overall. once ya have the game plan then it's all good.
