hood scoop
The car is pretty dirty but you get the idea. Had something similar on my EGT. I didnt mold it in, dont know what its from, thought it looked better than the boring flat stock hood, didnt really ever notice too much water get in when it rained. Guess it was functional, haha.

Its not a hood scoop its a NACA duct or NACA scoop. Its designed to let in fresh cool air without disturbing the aerodynamics of the car. It also is used to speed up air flow in dead zones on long body panels.

Haha, welfare hoses is right, I know, it was supposed to be temporary but stayed on the car for almost a year. Ohwell, it worked except when I hit bumps and the hoses got ripped off.sigpic
