I sounds like you have the halos wired to the head lights. and the headlights not wired. so when you turn the switch to headlights, only the rings come on. Try hard wiring the halos to the side marker lights but make sure you don't wire it to the blinker wire. Than wire the bulbs to the original headlights.Too bad I have AWD and you don't!

IF you are trying to get BOTH low beams AND high beams to come on when the HIGHS are selected, you will have to use a relay to send power to the lows when you switch the highs on...My 93 chevy truck NEEDED that modification...talk about a difference in lighting! Basically, you wire the relay so that when the high beams get power, it turns on, and sends power to the lows as well. People sell kits from $20-50, but all it takes is a standard (JY!) bosch style relay. If this does not describe your problem, let me know.Prior Pro owner RIP 1992/94 DX $1 Hybrid

Oh, ok I see what your saying, I think... So all the lights are functioning like they are supposed to? The Halo's are working all the time, the lows are on when you turn them on and the halos are still on, than when you switch to high beams, the lows go off w/ halos on and the brights come on. Is this what's happening? If that is the case than thats just how lights work. Like mightyfreecar said, you can wire in a reley to turn them both on.
EDIT: I agree. I'm tired of people coming on and being dicks about what people are doing to their cars. Personally I try to help where ever my experience can. I'm not going to sit there and tell someone they're gay even if I don't like what they're doing. Hell if you want to know how to wire in an electric supercharger, hell I'll tell you, but I think their dumb. I say people either be helpfull or shut the **** up.Last edited by 92_2_fast; 11-12-2006, 10:51 AM.Too bad I have AWD and you don't!
